An epic double overtake secured him the victory, as his rivals found the wall around the unforgiving Macau circuit.

His teammate, Mari Boya, stole the spotlight at the start however, getting passed pole-sitter Freddie Slater to take an early lead.
Nael, meanwhile, had dropped down to fourth behind Enzo Deligny after starting third.
All the drivers managed to get through the treacherous Lisboa corner at turn three, as they had yesterday. Unfortunately, some of them didn’t make it much further than that.
Reza Seewooruthun, Kiyoshi Umegaki, and Newman Chi were caught up in an incident going up San Francisco Hill, taking all three out and resulting in the first safety car.
Racing resumed on lap three with race-leader Boya coming under huge pressure from Slater, who was benefiting massively from the slipstream.
Slater out-broke Boya approaching Lisboa, and managed to avoid hitting the wall, as the lead changed hands with 12 laps to go.
With Slater, now in the race lead, and Boya pulling away out in front, Nael’s dreams of winning at Macau were becoming increasingly unlikely.
As the laps ticked down he remained stuck in fourth place behind Deligny, who was putting up a great defence.

However, on lap seven the French driver was thrown a lifeline, as Oscar Wurz found the barrier at Lisboa.
That brought out another safety car, which bunched the pack back up.
The Marshalls quickly got Wurz’s car out of the way, which meant that racing could continue with five laps still to go.
Boya, having been passed by Slater at the last re-start, returned the favour the second time round.
The Spanish driver out-broke Slater approaching Lisboa, an identical move to the one Slater pulled off on him a few laps earlier.

In his desperation to get back in front, Slater caught a snap of oversteer at the final corner, as he tried to keep up with Boya.
He tried his best to fight it, but could do nothing to stop his Theodore Prema car sliding the barrier.
The impact destroyed his rear wing, signalling the end of his race – a disappointing ending, having shown great pace to win the qualification race yesterday.
His DNF brought out yet another safety car, and when it came in there was just two laps left to decide the winner!
As the drivers barrelled down the never-ending run to Lisboa, Nael picked up a tremendous slipstream to get ahead of Deligny, and was now side-by-side with his teammate as they approached the braking zone.
Nael got to the corner first and was now in the lead.
Behind them, chaos was unfolding. Rashid Al Dhaheri found the barriers, as did Tokiya Suzuki and Charles Leong who had their own sepearte incident.
That brought the fourth safety car of the race, and with two laps left the win was now virtually guaranteed for Nael.
The race ended under safety car, with Nael taking the win, Boya second, and Enzo Deligny grabbing the final spot on the pdoium.

What the drivers said
Theophile Nael (1) said: “It feels really, really good. To be honest, I was just patient, the pace was there the whole weekend.
“It was a rollercoaster the whole weekend and now the emotions are coming.”
Mari Boya (2) said: “Theo did an amazing job, congratulations to him, for sure to the team, we did an amazing week together.
“Maybe today I’m not enjoying that much, but tomorrow, when I look back at the past, I will be really happy and proud about this week.”
Enzo Deligny (3) said: “In the end it’s a podium, it’s P3. I don’t think we were the quickest today so I’m still happy.”
