The 19 year old drove for Ferrari during the Saudi Arabian GP earlier in the year, finishing a superb 7th on debut and becoming Britain’s youngest F1 driver.
Bearman is currently competing in his second season of Formula 2, having taken his first victory of the season at the previous round at the Redbull ring, however has yet to match the hights of last year where he won 4 races, 3 of them Feature races, on his way to 6th in the standings as the second highest rookie.

He has already drove for Haas twice this season during FP1, impressing team boss Ayo Komatsu and will do so again in front of his home crowd at Silverstone this weekend.
This is another piece of the puzzle in the 2025 driver market with plenty of seats still on offer including the other Haas seat, as Nico Hulkenberg is leaving the team for Sauber/Audi next year. The main contenders for this second seat are current Haas driver Kevin Magnussen, who is currently out of contract at the end of the season, and Esteban Ocon who will part ways with Alpine at the end of this season.

Bearman will be joined in FP1 by fellow F2 drivers Isack Hajar and Franco Colapinto. Hajar, who currently sits second in the F2 standings, will sit in for Sergio Perez at Redbull, while Colapinto will make his F1 debut with Williams and currently sits 5th in the F2 standings.
Alpine reserve driver Jack Doohan will also take part in FP1 at Silverstone, with him being the favourite to take Ocon’s vacant seat for next season.
