The Brazilian has finished on the podium in every race so far this season, and looks to be running away with the title.

Race 1
The big story on Saturday was the rain, as lots of water hit the track before the race started, resulting in a safety car start. The safety car would come in after 17 laps of running, leaving pole-sitter James Wharton in the lead, for a lap, before he spun round at turn 3, dropping him to the back of the field.
This left Formula Regional Middle Eastern champion Tuka Taponen in the lead, with championship leader Camara in 2nd. Despite constant pressure from Camara behind, Taponen managed to hold on and win for the first time in the European championship, with Camara coming home in second place ahead of Alessandro Giusti in 3rd, with Pedro Clerot finishing 4th as the highest rookie.

Race 2

Race two would see Camara line up on pole position for a dry race on Sunday. He would get a good launch, holding the lead ahead of Brando Badoer who settled into second place where he would stay for the rest of the race, as he couldn’t get anywhere near Camara who took a commanding lights to flag victory ahead of Brando Badoer (2) and Alessandro Giusti (3) with Noah Stromsted finishing 4th as the top rookie.

Championship Outlook
With another two podiums, Camara extends his title lead even further, with his P2 in race one being his worst finish of the season which goes to show how dominant he’s been so far this year.
Tuka Taponen now finds himself 2nd in the standings albeit 73 points behind Camara in 1st, who looks to have a firm grip over this championship.
