jack Doohan Takes F2 Pole For The Last race of the season

Alpine junior Jack Doohan set a time of 1:35.567 to take pole position for the final race of the F2 season. Behind him were fellow Alpine juniors Victor Martins and Kush Maini making it a 1-2-3 in qualifying for Alpine’s F2 drivers.

Further back in the field, Fredrick Vesti qualified 9th meaning that he’ll start on the front row for tomorrows sprint race. This gives him a great chance to close the gap in the standings to his rival Pourchaire who qualified a disappointing 14th. 10 points are on offer for the winner of tomorrows sprint race plus another point for the fastest lap. Fredrick Vesti has already won 3 sprint races so far this year and if he wins tomorrows race he’ll close the gap from 25-15 points to Pourchaire.

Trying to stop him will be Enzo Fittipaldi who will start on reverse grid pole for tomorrows sprint race.

Ayumu Iwasa failed to take pole position and the two points that come with it meaning that he is now officially out of title contention.
